Sua Pan

The largest of the Makgadikgadi salt pans, Sua Pan spans approximately 2,500 square kilometers of shimmering white salt deposits. This massive flat expanse becomes a temporary home to thousands of flamingos when seasonal rains create shallow alkaline waters perfect for their algae food source. Visitors can experience the haunting beauty of endless white horizons interrupted only by occasional palm-fringed islands and the distinctive calls of countless waterbirds.
