Lake Bolsena

This pristine volcanic lake in northern Lazio boasts some of Italy's clearest waters, formed in an ancient volcanic crater surrounded by fertile hills. The lake's two small islands, Bisentina and Martana, add to its mystical charm and can be explored by boat during summer months.
