Kunene Region

Northwestern Namibia's untamed wilderness harbors the desert-adapted elephants of Damaraland and the semi-nomadic Himba people with their distinctive red ochre traditions. The region features the dramatic Epupa Falls on the Kunene River and some of Africa's most spectacular desert landscapes.
