Côte-d'Or

Côte-d'Or is a department in the Burgundy region of east-central France, with Dijon as its capital and largest city. The department is world-renowned for its prestigious wine production, particularly along the famous Côte d'Or wine route that produces some of Burgundy's most celebrated Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. It is also known for its rich historical heritage, including medieval architecture, châteaux, and its role as the former seat of the powerful Dukes of Burgundy.
