📂 Destination 🏷️ Department

Seine-et-Oise was a former department in the Île-de-France region of north-central France that existed from 1790 to 1968, surrounding Paris and the departments of Seine and Seine-et-Marne. It was abolished in 1968 and reorganized into four new departments: Yvelines, Essonne, Val-d'Oise, and parts of Hauts-de-Seine. The department was known for encompassing much of the western and southern suburbs of Paris, including historic towns like Versailles and Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
