Tabor

This medieval fortress town in South Bohemia was founded in 1420 by Hussite reformers and retains much of its original Gothic charm. The winding cobblestone streets lead to a magnificent central square dominated by the late Gothic Church of Lord's Transfiguration. Tabor's underground tunnels, once used for defense and storage, now offer fascinating guided tours that bring the town's turbulent religious history to life.
